Paul Cavassa opened a Civil Engineering office at 321 N. Lewis Street in Monroe Washington in 1981.  During these early years he developed a reputation for having a friendly informal atmosphere, delivering engineering excellence, business integrity, and exceptional negotiations. The community responded to the quality of Paul’s services and the business soon grew large enough to expand. In 1992 Cavassa and Associates was incorporated.

Paul’s belief in business integrity and customer service excellence is emphasized in the hiring policies of Cavassa & Associates.  Attention is paid not only to experience and one’s work but how the work gets done.  Every employee is eager to thoroughly understand a client’s needs and to go the extra mile.  Through this approach Cavassa & Associates has developed first rate business and professional relationships with all the various city, state, county and utility district staff they partner with and has a broad base of satisfied clients.

In addition to providing superior engineering services, Cavassa & Associates is committed to community stewardship and involvement.  Paul has been an active member in St. Vincent DePaul since launching his business and regularly provides pro-bono services for local non-profits.   Sky Valley Food Bank and the Monroe YMCA are two recent examples Cavassa & Associates are proud to have contributed to.

“I highly recommend Cavassa and Associates, they were thorough, conscientious, timely and ethical.

Paul and staff would take the necessary time to meet with us, explain the plan, problem solve and follow a project to it’s conclusion.

They always made the YMCA feel like our project was a priority no matter what else was going on.

I would recommend them to anyone; business or individual!”
